The Board of Directors of the Regional Farmers Cooperative Organization Gilgit (RFCO-G) recently visited the Madina Fruit Nursery Farms in Parri Bangala, Gilgit. This visit was a significant step towards ensuring the selection of certified fruit plants that will soon be distributed to the member Farmer Organizations of RFCO-G according to their specific requirements.
During the visit, the RFCO-G Board assessed the quality and variety of plants available at the nursery to ensure they meet the standards required for enhancing fruit production across the region. This initiative aligns with RFCO-G’s commitment to empowering farmers by providing them with access to high-quality agricultural inputs.
RFCO-G is also in the final stages of formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with several reputed fruit nursery farms. Once finalized, this partnership will facilitate a streamlined supply of certified fruit plants to member Farmer Organizations, supporting their efforts in boosting agricultural productivity and profitability.
